We were playing online last night and we used shuffle option, and shuffle ratio of 1. But we were getting only few cars in range from 200-250 HP. Does any body know how this works, how to get faster cars!?

Any help is appreciated :-)

Did you get the same cars for different tracks ?

I realy enjoy this mode, but would also like to know more about it.

When I was promoted to lobby owner, i tried different settings of shuffle ratio, but I didn't see the difference between 1 and 10.

At one time, everyone else already had a car and when i changed the ratio to one and started myself, then the roulette had only 2 cars in it.

I also noticed a few races that one person got a very good car, the rest average and one person gets a realy bad car.

I do think however certain cars belong to certain tracks, I could be wrong though.

This mode has brought me the most fun online, random cars and vote for track every race.

As i understood, 1 should give the smallest difference between cars, and 10 the biggest. But how to get e.g. BMW m3 into shuffle i don't know. We tried on different tracks and we got the same cars :-(

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I have discovered thus far regarding shuffle racing.

Here is my mathematical theorem:

Shuffle ratio (times) difference in overall time with Race leader (divided) by the position you've managed to place at the end of race (equals) the car you will receive in the next race.

Example of my formula:

(Shuffle ratio) * (Race leader overall time difference) / (Final pole position) = Next higher HP vehicle
1 * 32.56 seconds / 8th place = Next higher HP vehicle

So basically, in order to obtain the highest HP vehicle in the next race; you must have the shuffle ratio to the max and finish in last place with the worst time possible.

Although, I believe there are only a select few of cars available to be driven while in shuffle mode; which means all the cars in shuffle mode will always be the same preset cars during random slotting/lottery (06 RSX, GTO, NSX etc..).

Very simple, do well and you'll be driving a slower car in the next race. Finish last and you're more likely to score a much faster ride in the next race. That way each skill level has an equal opportunity to compete.
