Sick of those mongrel pop-up ads?

Are you sick of those annoying, pesky, mongrel pop-up ads? Are you sick of being interrupted from what you are doing and having to haul your mouse up to the cross in the corner of the box?

Well, download PopUpKiller and piss those annoying pop-ups off.

When PopUpKiller is active, it automatically closes pop-ups before the text even appears! So now you can surf the net, without being interrupted and without having to close ads you don't want to see.
 
you do know it has a hidden function that acts as a trogan eddy?
 
I use this - it's pretty handy. Only problem is it will kill attempts to link from page links (pain in the arse with www.fark.com), but if you're just surfing it's good. You can disable it.
 
I wouldn't use something like this. If you're visiting a free site, the least you could do is view an ad the webmaster is getting compensated for (I'm a webmaster, so I know what it's like to be in that position...).
 
i agree Jordan, but there are some sites (supercars.net comes to mind) that constantly open 3 or 4 pop up windows at once. I tend to use these pop up killers when i visit sites like that...

do you plan on adding some here in the future?
 
Ahem, Mozilla has this installed in the browser. Use it. It is far superior to IE.

Oh, yes, I know what you mean. Sometimes it's so bad it's funny (like supercars.net). And no, I don't have any plans on adding pop-ups, although banners are a good possiblity.
 
I use that thing often. I only turn it on when i see a site like supercars.net and then i set the limit to likr 2 max. windows open. But usually i dont use it cuz i'm here most of the time.
 
so am I, but I've usually got multiple browser windows open exploring sites and posting here at the same time :) so it's good using PopUp Killer so I don't have like 10 windows open

at the moment I've got 2 up, three including GTP
