Am i missing something or did they change the side views and look back when using the chase cam? I miss the way it was in gt5 that would show your car in it. It was awesome to free run and look at your car from the side when goofing off.

In GT5 it was possible to see the car via side look? Well, i missed that then. When i realized it shows no car in GT6, it just was like "Ah damn, again."...

it never was possible to look at your car outside with the side views.. its the same as in gt6 wich I hoped they'd change! If you say 7m wrong I need some proof becouse I am 100% sure Im right. Also I havent plaued Gt5 for maybe a year now, cant really see it would take them that long to change that!

You could assign look left & right functions on your Ds3 or Steering Wheel without using head-tracking or the cockpit view only on gran turismo 5. Settings page, and then to controller config, and set the look left/right functions to a button of your choosing. I have not actually tested if this is possible in gran turismo 6 yet, anyways...

Happy holidays !

It's possible in GT6.
I think he is referring to the replays, you could view your whole car by looking left or right.

I've assigned the L2/R2 for Left/Right view in both gt5 and 6! In both games, racing not replay, when in 3rd person view (view outside of car) looking left or right will only let you see as you would be in the bumber view, without the sight of car.. Not possible to see the side of the car this way, really, correct me if Im wrong!

Edit: lololol having a short flashback Im not too sure how this worked in gt5 as I havent played it for about a year or so... At least its not possible in gt6, and I dont really relie on these flashbacks of mine..

You see your car in rear view (3rd person) in GT5 i know that for sure, can't remember if side view you also see it.

I've left my D-pad open in hopes of getting RA back, no reasonable way to get left and right look so I don't much care about it.

Random Access, Rapid Access...something like that. It lets you scroll through settings such as TCS, ASM, ABS, brake balance and 4WD Torque distribution without leaving the track. Of course if any are prohibited for the event/lobby you can't change them there.

I've removed right control stick "up" and "down" (you know what i mean) and add right/left side view. i hope in the future they add option for 3rd person left/right view in a update.

Absolutely. And welcome to GTP if you haven't been already.

Thanks, appreciate it. Recently found out about GT planet! Can't believe it's taken this long for me to find out about it.

X and square are free for me as I use the control sticks for accelerate/brake etc.

Left/right view is good to have online in case you go off track, dont rush back on just to get smashed the f out again ruining other peoples day. I also would like a better allaround view of my car in 3rd person just to admire my new shiny wheels :)

Think it's actually "Real-time Adjustment".

Ok , guess I was mistaken about being able to see your car in third person side view on gt5. I have been playing forza waiting for gt6 to release like others said, I like looking at the wheels and glowing brakes.
