PD calls it "The Real Driving Simulator".
I'm not sure what that simulates, but it isn't driving.
 
I just went to triple screen and that will solve your problem. You can wrap the tv's around your wheel and set the settings accordingly and see the cars coming up alongside of you. Its especially good for going side by side down a straightaway. Can easily see when your clear to dip into the draft.
I know it's expensive for gaming but alot of fun.

I guess it would, but two more 60" tvs, two more ps3s and two more copies of the game = $$$.

I guess three 24"-30" tvs would be a little more practicle, but still...
Can't PD just add some mirrors?
