Sign in Bonus Question

Since I'm not getting any answers in my 24hr report thread, I'll ask here too.


I have been doing the 24hrs of Le Mans for the past 4 days. I was signed in for 3 of those days, until the DNS error glitch occured and got auto-signed out. I have since signed back in, but I'm worried I may lose my 200% sign in bonus. Does anyone know if I will still have it at the end of the race?

BTW, I have NOT suspended the race, I've been pausing it in fear of it glitching on me. So I have not exited the game or shut off my PS3. Please answer quickly.

If you don't go to the GT mode on the My Home screen you will lose the login bonus.

You will get 200% bonus when you'll finish the race. Bit once you go back to GT Mode screen it will drop respectively to days you've been out of that screen. Thats if more than 5 days, it will be back to 100%. I dont know if that glitch with signing out of psn has affected it somehow though.

I thought I would. I know it'll drop but it should stay the same seeing as I was only signed out by about a half a day. I hope the DNS error didn't **** it up somehow.

This ^ unfortunately there is only 1 way to do the 24 hr race and maintain 200% bonus. You would have been ok if you had'nt been signed out, If you supend the game you will sign out so losing bonus % now if you pause and dont get signed out it will be classed as 1 gameday so % will be kept also when i did the Le-mans 24 a couple of weeks ago in realtime its was the same scenario, I did not sign out although it went over 2 days [Started 18:00 finished 18:00 next day] and whoopee 13 million xp.

It´s not a problem if you get disconnected during a race. The only important thing is, that you are connected to the PSN when you are at the home screen. To maintain the 200% bonus it is enough to go once a day to the home screen when you are signed in. I always signed out during endurance races, and signed in via Ingame-XMB before going to the home screen, without loosing the bonus.

btw: if you are not connected to the PSN when you go to the home screen, you will loose the bonus for the rest of the day. When you log in the next day, the 200% bonus is active again.

This is correct, I can attest that after running the 24h Le Mans over 14 days and suspending about 10 times, you still get the 200% on completion. When you return to the GTLife screen however it will then reduce depending on when you were last at this screen (RL days)

Not correct if I understand correctly, if you remain logged-in and pause, taking more than 2 days, again you will get the 200% on finish, but when returning to the GTLife screen your bonus will still reduce based on days (RL days)

It will work the same whether you were logged-in throughout, whether you logged-in every day, or whether you were only logged-in at the start.
