Signature "options"

....Oh hey, kinda curious about something regarding the signatures of posts, @Jordan

See, I'm also a member of another forum which utilizes Xenforo software, and it has a fairly similar layout to GTP - although this place is a lot cleaner and more pleasing to the eye.

The other forum allows the users to include animated gifs and spoilers in their signatures. I checked but there doesn't seem to be any ways to incorporate a spoiler in the current set up of GTP. Haven't gotten around testing with a gif as yet however.

Is it possible to have them (spoilers, gif) in a signature? If not, is there a plan to implement it in a near future?
 
No, only minimal signature formatting options will ever be available here.

It's likely one reason you find GTP "cleaner" and more "pleasing to the eye", and that's the point. ;)
 
Kind of unrelated and related at the same time...... I like to adjust both expectations and delivery of language depending on where a particular member resides/originates, or really more to the point, appears to reside/originate. It's no fool-proof strategy regardless (given that people move countries, and can have "perfect" English despite being from a non-English speaking country), but it would be nice be able to trust locations given under a member's avatar. I assume at the moment that there's no restriction on what locations can be entered?

* And stop being so surprised that I'm considerate!! I know you were all thinking it.
