Silly pointless Question 'bout GT3 cars

this might get locked....but i hope not..

i just got a new memory card the other day and it has no saves...i was thinking about starting a new GT3 game just for the hell of it...

is there a car in your opinion that CANNOT win any beginner races without extreme skill?

i spose my question is...whats the crappiest car you can buy with your first pile of dosh...17,000?

PS. i am not implying i have extreme skill...
 
Hell I dont know... :odd: Go with any one of those cars that are under 100 hp

well i dont wanna brag, but i do regularly get Bronzes on the licence tests.....and i can win the Sunday Cup in my polly001...(sometimes)...:D
 
get the ****box ford you know the one ... the tickford car driven by the looser himself glen seaton if he ever wins a race it will be a sad day for motorsport everywhere...its a bit more than your starting cash but i wouldn't pay that much to be creamed by a mx5

what car <17,000 SELLS for the most money when your finished with it?
 
also...if your Tickford Falcon is getting creamed by an MX5 there are some deeper issues you need to work on...

The Vitz, even the base, is a good car. For a first car when starting the game the vitz next to the miata are your two best choices. With no mods you will beat most other cars in the opening races.

I would have to agree the PT cruiser is probably the worst "first car". it has the most HP but handles like a school bus and the gearing is very off.

If you have played the game before the opening races in any car will be easy. The challenge would be to say buy a Vitz or Miata and use it for as long as you can and try to wait as long as you can to modify the car.

If you can still win into the early amateur league races with an un-modified vitz or miata you got skills.

Another thing is to limit yourself to only "buying" two cars in each league, for a total of six. Mod them all you want...but stick to only two. If will be tough getting the right drivetrains to cover the game that are still competitive in where they are needed.
 
IMO the Beetle is a better first car than the Vitz. It doesn't seem to matter what you do to the Vitz, it handles poorly--even for an FF car. A Miata is still the best choice though.

I rather enjoy the Vitz, not my favorite car but in it's class it is pretty nice....great first car..though the miata lasts alot longer and has better handling.

overall in the game if i have to drive a FF car give me the Fiat or Citreon in that order.....

The Cruiser is extremely ugly, very expensive (no room for modifications here) and lurches around a bit.
The Beetle has a very low Power-to-Weight ratio and is phenomenally ugly. At least it opens the Beetle Cup to you though. For you to lose badly.
Amazingly the Cuore TR-XX-XX-XX-XX-4R-RT-TX-XR-X4-TX-XT-RX-X4-4R has an even lower PWR. It’s 4WD, so can lose in those races and has bugger-all potential, save for Kei Cup races. It’s cheap though.
The stablemate Sirion has the highest PWR of the lot here, but it rolls around a lot and isn’t very pretty at all.
The Demio is a Demio. Haven’t you been paying attention?
The MX-5s open the most competitions for you (NA tune for NA cup, Turbo tune for Turbo cup. They even have their own Endurance race for totally unmodified MX-5s), have a high PWR and are quite attractive.
The Alto is a Cuore, but worse and more expensive (go figure)...
The Trueno is more powerful than the MX-5s (and FR too) and cheaper.
The Yaris 1.3 isn’t much good, but the 1.5RS is the best small FF, and has it’s own competition (although you may want to tune the thing first)."

So for your 18,000cr, the car which will sell back for the most is the Chrysler Cruiser (what a heap of...).

The Citroen is nice. I wouldn't even consider the Fiat though. I'd rank the best FF cars with upgrades as the Citroen, followed by the Beetle Cup Car, followed by the Honda Integra Type R 98 S. None of these is a starter car though unless you're cheating.

a couple of you were reccomending good cars....but i want the clunkers...

the PT Cruiser was my first car last time around...i actually like it...it reminds me of a hearse...which i like.

is it 18,000?...its been so long i forgot...

my mother owns a Toyota Yaris....no thanks...not even in pink.

Well you could always do all the Arcade mode time trials and start with the esperante GT-1 car, but you sound like you're driving style is more suited to a Miata :P

i want a car that cannot win in the beginner league with ease...

I'd have to say go with the PT Cruiser. It's as close as you can come to a Soccer Mom car in this game.

I managed to hit 100% with only buying 3 cars. Read Der Alta's Compendium for the full story.

Yep. go with the PT Cruiser. It's big, it's bulky,it's heavy and overall s***. As for the Tickford Falcon. My pushbike could beat it and that is sitting outside gathering rust. PD please get a real V8 Supercar. Get this V8 Supercar
