Silly question - backing up a save?

I got the USB memory dongle thingy with my Sig Edition.
Do I just plug that into the same USB slot I would plug my charger lead into, then select "Copy" on the save data?

I've never backed up my save but feel I should now I'm over level 30 with 160 cars, 76% complete and most special events golded. Would be a shame if it got wiped.

A simple yes/no (with correct way, if so) will do, along with some laughing if you must. I just like to be 100% sure before I do something...

Yes. Select save and then select the USB device.
