vinsionThe Sil80 can come in many different flavors. The term SilEighty is just something tuners in Japan came up with when switching out the front end bumper, fenders, and hood from a One-Via to the original S13 front end. I've heard of Sil80's having SR20s from different generations of the Silvia, a few Sil80's use the CA18DE[T].

Delphic ReasonNot quite accurate...
The term "One-Via" is used for the S13 we have in the states (USA), and aftermarket conversions done elsewhere... "One" for "180", and "Via" for "Silvia"... Meaning the front end is from a 180SX, and the body is that of an S13 Silvia... This configuration was never offered outside of the US...
Now, the term "Sileighty" is just the opposite... The front end from a Silvia, and the body of a 180SX... All Sileighties were aftermarket everywhere in the world until '96 or '98 (I'm a bit fuzzy on that one) when Nissan started selling a limited run production of this configuration, although not under the Nissan nameplate... Which is why it does not show up in the Nissan showroom in GT4...
BTW, the Sileighty is one of my favorite cars in the game... I wish they had an older version of the car (like in GT2) with the triple projector lamps, and oldschool taillights, but I'll deal with what I have... Very balanced car, and easy to handle...

vinsionTrue (I acually knew that...just got things mixed up/typed it wrong). I saw a Sil80 in person a few months ago, it was sitting right next to a genuine true JDM 180SX (straight from Japan) at an Autocross event. Later on I got a ride in the national champion's STi around the course...very intense.
Here's a visual diagram...if you can visuallize it:
