hi
im pretty new to drifting (in gt3)
and i wanted to get a Silvia Spec R Aero(J).

i have seen sheron's setup depot of this car
however,
i am not sure which turbo kit lvl, and which light weight stage to get...
plz help me :(

why not PM him directly or check out the settings section of the gt3 forums for more info?

nk4e, what he means is set the hp for each different track so it is suitable for certain types of turns. That is an ok way. but rather than doing that, set it at a hp level you are most comfortable with.

i know what he means but u just use the same technique in the corners right? but each track have the same corners , like rome curcit and that 90 degree turn, its at cote also or the big one in TM, its like the one at tokyo but a larger

nk4e, he's not asking about technique. He's asking what turbo hp he would use. Setting the cars hp differently at certain courses may help. It's really up to you. It wouldn't have to "mess" up your original settings.

the best way to go with a s15 is everything they will let buy on the car

than turn TCS ASM all the way off sim tires

front back
spring rate 12.0 12.0
shck bound 6 7
shck rebound 7 8
camber stock stock
toe 2 0
stabilizers 3 4
brake balance 9 1
diff innitial trq stock stock
diff accel 50
diff decell 30

these settings apply for all silvias and 240zx

Well, i like drifting w/ as much speed and angle as possible. Hey, you need speed to link drifts properly since i never use the handbreak. I highly reccomend you try just playing around w/ parts and settings untill you find what you want. And if thats too much use one of the setups found in the setup depo as a foundation and tweak it as you wish. the guys setup is kinda different from my uber drift setup for my s15, i think the chamber for the rear was like 3.5 or something. lol 👍 Just play around mang, you dont have to max out the car if u dont want. o, and the less weight ur car has means it has less weight to throw around. so thats just something else to think about when modding your car.

I use Sheron's setup too. I think he just said "buy all the parts you can." What worked for me is full power tune, but using the twin-plate clutch and semi-racing flywheel. His other settings worked just fine for me.
