Ok, i wanted to complie a list of who actually races Sim racing games and what games they play.

for so long ive been wanting to race some guys here from GTP trying to organise something.. but it never happens. So maybe if we get a list of who races and what games then we can orgainse something.. even a one off... Besides will give a good sign on whats popular...

I'll start



Dion Holzheimer (Small_Fryz) - GTL/GTR2/Rfactor/Race07 - mainly Rfactor/GTL
 
David (daan) - GTR2/Rfactor/Race07/GTL - I pretty much use GTR2 exclusively

I mostly race offline, Just for fun moslyt
With Race 07, it was most times I play on public servers. Never got into any championships or anything major.
So mostly 20 lap 2-4 rounds.
With rFactor I never play onine, because its heavily molded, and I'm lacking with circuits and cars lol.

Oh, I havent play the games in a while now. just rFactor few days ago.. SO i would need major practice again.

But everything sounds good. Would like to race with you guys.
 
If I was to buy one of those four main games. Which would you guys reccomend.
 
They are rally cheap these days so get all :)
I would also recommend Live for Speed, but i dont have it lol, but i hear great things from it. I enroll in some sweepstakes, so maybe I will win LFS :)

But best choice is Race 07 so far, Easy for online play. And I think the MOST realistic race game of them all. It's using steam Account, so its auto Patch DL :) As well there is a Race 07 Expansion pack coming up in few months. It will add tons of new RWD cars from GTR2 game (and some extra like the Koenigsegg race car) and more tracks including the famous Nur-Ring :). I hear the expansion pack is stand alone as well, so you can just wait few more months for that as well.

I downloaded rFactor yesterday, but I'm not sure if I like it enough to fully buy it or not.

Brian - unimental - iRacing mainly at the moment, but I run pretty much everything else except oval-focused or rally sims.

GTR2 mainly. I stopped playing GTL, and I haven't gotten around to playing with the rFactor disc I got with my G25. I don't race online anymore, though.
 
Logan (Toronado) - rFactor/Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed/Viper Racing/Sports Car GT/Live For Speed. Mainly Sports Car GT. The only one I've ever played online is Porsche Unleashed.
 
Gabkicks- iRacing, Live For Speed, Rfactor (historic gt mod w/gt legends cd), Richard Burns Rally

the Historic gt and touring car mod for rfactor is much better than gt legends, but it requires a gt legends cd to be present when 1st installing.

GTR2 (4,500 laps & 14,000 miles. Mostly in G2,G3,NGT cars)
LFS (S2 but have not raced online very much at all)
NR2003 GTP mod (Tough to race online if not in a league, virtually all offline laps)
NKPro (Not purchased yet, wating for next update)
GP-Bikes (Not purchased yet, waiting for beta at least)
iRacing (Wating for invite. haha)

Just did some Race 07, it was walk in a park, not hot laps, but with AI race :P
After playing GT5P it was really easy to get into Race 07
 
As mine and Alex's sig's say, we are starting a new league for GTR2 racers if anyone would like to join. So far we have 4 people. 3 UK and 1 American, anyone's welcome to join. When we have 6 or 7 racers we would like to start some events. If your interested Click the link. Thank you :)
 
yeah, the forums will state all times and dates, and we have a test session at 1PM GMT this saturday afternoon.

I play/have played GTR2, rFactor, GPL and F1 Challenge. Other notable are Need for Speed 3 and TOCA 2 Touring Cars :D

I don't play them now because my laptop can't take them due to it's crappy 1.48ghz processor. I want a proper desktop with a big enough processor for gaming in the future. Then I'll play LFS and also get RACE 07, GTR Evolution and maybe STCC as well :P
 
Sean Daily PST - GTL, GTR2, Race '07, GTREvo, Live for Speed. I have Rfactor, but it just doesn't compare to any of the others. The physics seem off and unrealistic (yes, even with real feal, or any other FFB mods I've tried). Lately I've been playing a lot of GTR Evolution.
