Let me start by adknowledging that this might not be the proper place fro this thread, so Moderator please move it to a better place, I could not decide.
Looking at F1 2012 or Dirt 3, both Codemaster, I realize, it made me wonder why is there not more games that can be played on the main devices, PC, PS3 and Xbox,
Some are obvious in the fact that they are exclusive for commercial reason, like GT5 and PS3 or Forza and Xbox.
But what are the reason for other SIMs that could benefit from a wider audience than PC sim.
Rfactor, netkar, Simbin, once a game is finished ( although they are never really finished LOL ) is it that difficult to adapt it to a different device operation system? Even with some limitation, I would love for example to try Rfactor on my PS3, since my lap top cannot run it.
Is it always just about money or marketing reason or is there more challenge technicaly?
Might be a bad exemple, but the App business as adapted very quickly to have 2 platforms instead of one, these days all apps are available for Andriod and Apple devices.
