We've talked with an insider from the hosting organisation and this source has revealed to us that the following features are likely to be included for this event series:
- a race car only event
- a sim tire only event
- weekly multi lap races, some or all with tyre wear
- cars announced two weeks in advance of the actual race (so that those who do not yet own the car will be allowed sufficient time to acquire and test it).
- each race winner and the top three drivers in the final standings will require verification at the end of the tournament (xps/sps file or verification by a trusted party)
- EDIT: paricipating drivers may team up with one other driver, dividing the races whichever way they like. Of course each driver may only be member of one participating team
- detailed race analysis of sector times as well as a short radio style race summary are likely to be provided
- providing there is enough interest, a league system will be used
Details are subject to change, and more details and information as to the racing schedule will follow, but we've agreed with the organisation that drivers can start signing up here now and they will check in a little before the series starts ...
