I think it would be a great addition to the game if they created a lobby for people wishing to race each other using standard untuned cars, all the same make / spec , with no assists.

I want to know that winning or losing a race is down to skill alone.

If i were in charge of the game I would scrap the tuning shop and B-Spec alltogether and focus on trying to make a-spec as rewarding and challenging as possible.

I just feel i spend more time searching for cars and applying tunes than actually racing.

Its all a bit of a grind to be honest.

has anyone tried the "Limit To My Garage" option in the online lobby area?
perhaps this does this? i haven't raced like that, but i do know if i'm the lobby leader guy, it sends me to my garage to pick one car and one car only. i have no idea the effects it has on the other users or races.

@TweakMonster - that's easily fixed.
run two laps at whatever track you're on in Drive mode, without anyone starting the race.
first lap doesn't count, second lap and beyond is timed. depending on how the Lobby Owner has it set, the person with the fastest time can take the pole (if set to Fastest First), or be moved to the back of the grid (if set to Slowest First). default is Fastest First.
