This years competition starts this coming weekend, the tournament seems pretty wide open this year with last years winners Wales missing several experienced players totaling 726 caps and England looking for a response to last years dismal fifth place finish. Matches should be played in full stadium this time around.

Ireland 29-7 Wales
Scotland 20-17 England
France 37-10 Italy

Easy win for Ireland is game they dominated much off, could be a long few weeks for Wales, tight game between Scotland and England but Scotland did deserve the win, Three second half tries gives France a comfortable win over Italy.

Table has been updated.

Six Nations action this weekend.

Saturday.
Wales v Scotland (2.15 BBC)
France v Ireland (4.45 ITV)

Sunday.
Italy v England (3pm ITV)

Wales 20-17 Scotland

Quite a tight encounter between Wales and Scotland but Wales were much improved from last weeks hammering from Ireland and just sneaked a win, Brilliant match in Paris and could be match of the tournament, France now the only unbeaten side in this competition, thumping win for England over Italy today.

Table has been updated.

No Six Nations action next weekend as it takes a two week break.

Six Nations returns this weekend.

Saturday.
Scotland v France (2.15 BBC)
England v Wales (4.45 ITV)

Sunday.
Ireland v Italy (3pm ITV)

COME ON WALES!!!

Scotland 17-36 France
England 23-19 Wales
Ireland 57-6 Italy

France still on course for the Grand Slam this year, only Wales and England can stop them and they play England on the final day. England were 12-0 up at half time but a spirited comeback from Wales late on meant it was a close game, Only one try for England two with three for Wales. Thumping win for Ireland, what happened at the end? Did Italy have to play with 13 men?

Table has been updated, no Six Nations next weekend.

This explains what happened and why.

I didn't know about the rule so was surprised by Italy having to field 13 men.

Here are the Six Nations games for this weekend.

Tonight.
Wales v France (8pm BBC)

Saturday.
Italy v Scotland (2.15 ITV)
England v Ireland (4.45 ITV)

Could be as many as 10,000 empty seats in Cardiff tonight, most tickets are expensively priced at over £100.

Wales 9-13 France
Italy 22-33 Scotland
England 15-32 Ireland

Grand Slam is still on for France after a hard fought win over Wales, It was a bit of a frantic start with most of the points scored in the first 20 minutes, Wales were better in the second half and had some great chances. Scotland weren't at their best but had some great moments to beat Italy.

Charlie Ewels was sent off for England after just two minutes following a dangerous high tackle on James Ryan, the tackle was after 44 seconds and it went to TMO before agreeing that it was a red card offence, England played 78 minutes with 14 men and did well at times but Ireland had too much for them.

Table has been updated, the final round of games is on Saturday, France can win the Grand Slam but Ireland can still win the championship.

Wales 21-22 Italy
Ireland 26-5 Scotland
France 25-13 England

France are this years Six Nations Champions and Grand Slam winners for five wins out of five, its well deserved as they have been the best team by far, Ireland did well to finish four points of them though, Italy got their first Six Nations win in 36 attempts with a dramatic late win over Wales, wales have had a pretty dismal tournament as have England.

Final table has been updated.
