wats ur fastest time???

I ran a 9.354. My trick is to start off on 3rd gear. I have couple settings changed too. Do u think its a good time??or should i improve.....

P.S.- Im new to this forums so i want to say hi to everyone.

Welcome to GTPlanet RobcioPL. I couldn't really tell you how good of a time that is because frankly I don't really even do any 0-400m sprints. But actually I think that that time isn't too bad, I'm pretty sure I've seen faster . . . but I think your time isn't too far behind.

thanks for the reply....i do think i saw better too.

Not a problem, but the times I've seen, I don't think they are a whole lot faster . . . like tenths of a second or something.

The differences are very slim, but yeah, I don't usually do those sprints anymore. Welcome to GT Planet

So Cobbinator, what is the best time you have seen, because I can't remember a time at all?

Hello, RobcioPL! Welcome to GTPlanet. I'm going to put this on the correct forum for times comparisons. Look around all the forums, have a good time, and enjoy your stay here.

neon your such a square...

I don't know what this guy's smoking, but there is no way to tell the 1/4 Time of any car in the game.

He means 400m time, its not a TRUE quarter mile, its actually a little less...but people still say 1/4 mile...most people know what they mean

just for kicks i hopped in my r34 and had a few runs, best i did was a 9.363, so thats a pretty nice time youve got there 👍

Well......the 1/4 is almost the same as the 400m. Just as some member pointed out.

It's not a 1/4 mile though, therefore quarter mile times in this are fictional. 400m is 7.66 Feet short of a quarter mile or 1320 feet. 7.66 may not seem like alot but the #'s can substantially change in that time, for instance a 9.98 could and more than likely would be a 10. Which is also another reason why 1/4 racing is lame. 1/4 racing only really exsists in the crappy american standradized units of measure, as apposed to Metric, which is the better.

The diferences always boil down to hundredths and even thousandths of a second. Funny how somebody who was able to get it a fraction of a second faster is seen as disproportionately better.

The difference always boils down to the engineers behind the car, since the 1/4 99% an engineers race, but I suppose if you're more into building than driving, I guess it's for you.

Well I geuss I enjoy our crappy 1/4 mile drag racing. Atleast we get an extra 7 feet of race track:lol: I actually went to a drag race a year ago....my god the top fuels were doing it in 4 secons at 330 mph! so do yall have drag racing in 400meters?

Well, 9.379, still got a little to test here D

Make that a 9.358. :D

Ok first I had a 9.338. . . But after my last run

9.321 That was a pot luck attempt there.

just did a 9.323. it'd be nice to break into the 9.2's, but even that .023 is a lot to take off

Increase rear downforce and pt Super Slick tires in Front and Supersoft in rear. This may work better if you reduce VCD by 5-10%
This usually takes off .2 seconds no joke:cool:

I manage to 9:090 and this is no joke!!! :)
