Skyline video collection *finally up and running*

I'm currently working with chaserfan on making a large Skyline video library open to all GTP members, If anyone has anything they would like to contribute contact me and we can arrange a file transfer. As of now I'm concentrating only on videos featuring skylines later I may choose to add other videos. There will be everything from 700 MB full length videos to clips for the 56Kers. I'll be hosting them for now, depending on how large the collection gets and how many people download them :D

I'll update you guys as I get things done.

:D great, i got millions of best motoring video featuring Skylines. I also got some Skyline video alone. So lets talk about how to contribute the video.
 
for us 56kers? eff you skyline guy, I WILL get the 700 mb thingie, even if it takes me a month. bleh, I'll just tell my friend who has broadband and I will get the little ones. but for the both of you, THANKS. this is an awesome effort and I will help in any way I can. I dont have any rare vid of a skyline, hell, I just have like... three XD but in any way I can help, I will.

im gonna work on a page where you guys can UL any vids you want directly to the server. just gotta work out the code :irked:
 
AWESOME, thanks alot skylineGTR_guy, I will be making a GT-R tribute myself, I already made many racing highlight videos. if it's cool with you, I would love to upload the highlight
 
yeah, im gonna have forums and stuff too :D however I have deciede that the compaq being used blows so my friend and I are going to get a new server thats alot faster :D

Yep... I said i wanted to help Skylineguy with it but most of the video i have he has, beside the huge 1 hour Best MOTORing videos which is too large to send. I tried my best to help him out but he has all the videos i have beside the big best motoring videos :banghead:

Guess im no help GT-R, but good luck
 
As I said, I'm buying a new server, no sense on setting it up if im just gonna trash the old server. I'll give a link once it's set up though!

I'm also making a skyline gallery, so far I'm up to 177 images and still getting more :)

well 2 servers both crapped on me, 1 crapped itself the other has a broken pin on the processor meaning I have to buy a new one which I would have done had I not had to go out and buy new tires....
 
what has happened to this? I WANT VIDEOS!!!
well, if this ever really materializes, I hope the server will be mac-compatible. some servers just doesn´t cut it about macs =/

I MIGHT have a bit of a problem with the speeds....I have 108 videos and 185 pics so far. I'm going to need to find some mirrors to host all this stuff or the speeds will be horrible!

*EDIT* I've been searching the internet and I've updated my collection to 292 pics :D
 
awesome to hear, are there any big vids, or just small ones. I really want some high quality professional videos(best motoring, top Gear,nissan commercials).
 
I have two non skyline videos, both of the gumball rally dvd rips at 700 MB high resolution I have some BM and the top gear vids, I'm going to make still shots and captions of what the vid is next to each one as well as the file sizes, I'm also thinking of making a submissions page where you can upload your skyline pics and vids that i may not have and if i like them I'll put them up :)
 
Ok up to 533 pics and 90 videos, hi res pics and videos are for members only, please dont download more than 1 video at a time since the site is hosted from home and it will kill my bandwith forcing me to remove the vids, so please dont ruin it for others :) PM me your desired username and password if you want acess to the vids.
