Skype icon problem...

Not sure if it's just me or the same for everyone, but the Skype icon that appears below the user's 'avatar', 'online status' etc. doesn't seem to be working.

Here are two examples:

I think this image is sourced from an extrenal site so it's not strictly a GTP problem, but it's affecting GTP all the same.

It's not a biggy, but should be duly reported all the same I feel.

Instead of an X, I just get a text link that says, "Send a message via Skype to ____"

I get that too, or nothing at all, although it seems to be working for me now.

That's what it should be, except I'm online so the icon should be green.
That's the offline icon. (Atleast that's how I think it is)

It used to be a red S though. Maybe they changed it? :indiff:

Either way, there is an icon there now where there wasn't before, so it seems that all is well...

💡 Maybe they had some teething problems when they changed to this new online/offline system?

No problems now though, anyway. :)
 
I'm getting it appearing as a link, too.

The icon is different from before because I think it's part of the update for vB 3.5.4.

Mind you, when the new icon was working the other day, I added my parents Skype to my profile to see if it worked and turned green when you were online, it didn't...

Yep, the update for vB swapped it with an "Is this user online?" system. Trouble is, the most recent skypes hide wether people are online for people not in their contacts. I was trying to find the setting for it the other day...
