Sl600 '04 model

Have been trying a few tunes out for my sl600 on the ssrx and can only seem to hit 270mph down the hill part and on the flat iam getting 267mph i have been drag racing online and i just cannot seem to get the tune right as most people all leaving me for dust at around 200mph and they or getting 272mph on the straights i have also tried a few tunes off here gtplanet but still carnt reach 270mph my car is fully tuned at 1025bhp also had oil change and rebuild at 200miles if anyone is willing to sort me a good setup i would be very greatfull for it

And i have tried about every tune on here and still no joy :( so thought i would see if there or any good tuners that would sort me one out
 
If I remember, the fastest I've ever heard of for a SL600 was around 273mph, but since I know of no more about the car or the person who tuned it, the most advice I could give you is (following drag racing logic) to raise the front and tune the gears so that you're nearing peak power in top gear.

I suggest you go ask some 3000M drag tuners or Wangan tuners (though they are extremely rare around here) for more help though.

I have noticed that the people who i race online there cars or set with there front end really high and back end low but as i have only just got into the tuning and dont know how to setup the suspension or either transmission.

All i have been really doing is getting tunes from here (gtplanet) and then tweaking them and get only a little extra after doing this but now at the stage were i carnt make it any better.

So if some one has the tine where i can achieve 272 mph i would be over moon if you. Ould help me would even give you a car of your choice thats if i got it or even paints
 
Nose up, tail down, minimum spring rates. The rest will be in gearing and possibly your turbo choice (mid-range may actually do better for top speed, it's certainly faster up to about 250).

But to be truthful would prefer if someone could share there transmission and suspension tune ano its abit cheeky to ask but because iam new to tuning i would not say iam capable of a full tune on my own at the moment i just tweak alittle with others

Eh, first things first. That's a 3000M/tunnel tune, which is the wrong type. It's a good base, but you need to stretch it out for the other 7000M you're going to have to cover as well.

As for the rest…I'm very much behind GME and the like, so I'm of exactly 0 help whatsoever from here on out. Take RJ's advice though, and then go bug him for more. :p

I'd slam the rear suspension and reduce front spring to 3.0 on your car. Don't have access to my PS3 at the moment so I'm afraid I can be of only limited help as far as gearing goes.
 
The tune I use, as per my reply via psn. I am consistently hitting 270+ without having to resort to the "head up, rear down" system, and will draft another 70mph+ above that. (Video evidence now in the post)
(It runs 270.2mph over the 10km standing speedtest.)

I tried your setup but i can not seem to get 270mph out of it unless i go down the hill part on ssrx online.

Which turbo are you using?

Also iam out at the minute but if your on later i will add you and we will have to test it out on ssrx

Full stage 3 turbo used, I should be running for most of tomorrow, as I've got loads of cars to tune for top speed runs, or just running in engines.
I'll recheck what my suspension is set to, as I may have fiddled with that since posting that tune, as it'll run 272 down the hill and maintain 270 after that on the flat.

(I'll put mine on share and you can take down the settings from there, tuning set 3 is the one I usually run)
