Slim Model cooling/case mods?

Don't know if this is the correct forum or not, but has anyone come up with something to combat the way the slim model gets hot after an hour/hour and a half of playing? I've had mine get hot enough to the point of being able to smell hot plastic (yes, I shut it off). I was also wondering if there was anyone doing case mods like with computers, you know, cut outs and LED's and such.

I put mine on top of a unit, rather than packed into one, which allows good airflow around it. With the #1 heat-producing component - the transformer - now external, there really shouldn't be any issues cooling the PSTwo - as long as the heat is allowed to escape from it.

I got mine on top of my wardrobe which is a nice flat surface, but I gotta admit it does get quite warm after playing for a good amount of time. Never got to the point of smelling plastic melting.

Well, I've documented proof of running mine for 468 straight hours (doing a 24 hour endurance race) with no problems or heat build up...

There is a metallic strip on the top whch gets hot, but it IS a heatsink, so you'd expect it.

19 and a half days? A specing an hour or so at a time or somethin? It's not so much the warming up that bothers me, (to be expected with something with no fans) its when I start to smell plastic that I begin to worry.
