Slo-Mo Glitch

I have read elsewhere that others have experienced play reduced to slo mo that can only be stopped by turning off the game. Is there going to be a fix or patch to this!? I experienced it during two separate races in two separate cars.

To say it was frustrating would be an understatement!! Come on Polyphony FIX IT!!
 
Never had any other issues with the PS3... GT5 looks pretty but after so many years in development you would think a glitch like this would be fixed during Beta testing.

Does anyone know if they will patch it?
