Havent noticed,my wheel is pretty tight (6 months old) im going to say its isolated to your wheel

probably an isolated thing, i've been using mine for over a year and it doesn't move up and down, unless the hooks holding it aren't tight of course

Just the wheel assembly moving inside the base or is the whole base moving when you pull/push up or down on it? If its the wbhole base, hard mounts fix that, but the dfgt doesn't have hard mounting points.

If your warranty is up and Logitech won't help you, you can always take the top off and see if you can find the problem. Could be as easy as tightening a couple things.

My dads DFGT just did the same thing his had cracked the internal wheel housing the shaft runs through contacted logitech and was told to send it back under waranty
