Slow internet PS4

I just upgraded my home networking hardware downstairs on my iPhone. I am getting 200Mbps download how come my PS4 is still showing me only 8MBPS?

Perhaps the wrong forum, but appreciate any replies. This is related to Gran Turismo updates.

8MB/sec is just over 60Mbps.

How is your PS4 connected to your router? Have you tried all of the following:

The PS4 has a junk WiFi chip. Try using a wired connection, or 5ghz wifi if you have a slim or a pro.

I have a Netgear N600 router that can be configured as an access point. I was using it for a while, then disconnected it. I set it back up again and connecting the PS4 to it with a network cable resulted in a much better upload and download speed. Appreciate the advice about the lousy trip in the PS4 console.
