slow step in replay photo mode

I realize I will get slammed if this is answered someplace else, but quick search did not give any information.
Is there a way to slow motion or step sequence in replay mode to get a precise action shot? ie: flame backfire, moment of impact, exact point of snow spray
 
Nope, the best way is to quickly tap START twice to move forward a few frames, but it's pretty much luck if you catch something.
Backfires are very hard to get :yuck::dunce:
 
count me in, still trying to get a decent backfire shots but no luck so far....
will try gain tonight! :crazy:

Not yet, would make taking photos less annoying if available.
