Is anyone else having problems with the event totally screwing up your playlist settings in GT5? I have a few menu BGM selections, primarily various versions of past GT theme songs, and I created a silent MP3 file for the Race BGM--that way you can leave the level on so the fanfare music will play at the end of the race.
Once I load the SLS event, it resets the whole game to play the default playlist, and you can no longer select your own playlists. What's more annoying is that while driving in the SLS event, the most annoying, head-banging, drum smashing stuff starts to play. I usually run off the track and start cussing. I almost think the selection was intentional, as the same three to five songs start playing every time I restart.
The only way to get back to your original playlist... quit GT5 completely and reload it. Everything will be fine (you can now select your playlists) until you reload the SLS event.
