Smilies from external sources

Hi I saw a few members using smilies not available in GTP, and was wondering exactly what your stance is regarding the usage of these smilies from external sources. I used a couple already before realizing that it might not be allowed so I just wanted to make sure.
If it's okay to use them, um, any recommended site for smilies?

http://www.freesmileys.org/ Use them once in a while. Lots of funny ones in there.
