Smilies Suggestion

I've noticed that there are some smilies in the smilies box that usually don't get used:
:cheeburga :( :nervous: and :cool:

Could these possibly be replaced by more "useful" smilies, such as
:thumbsup: and :thumbsdow , :odd: , :lol: , etc.?​

Again, just a suggestion... ;)
 
I usually always use the :cool: :( and :nervous: smilie. There are over 300 smilies and it all depends on the situation when u'd use the smilies.

Okay, since my suggestion is thrown out the window, I have one little thing that's been nagging me... the vB bug. From reading prior announcements, it seems like it was solved some time ago, yet when I click on a smiley it still goes to the end of my post... :irked:
 
Is your typing cursor at the spot where you want it and there is no type after the cursor?

Reason why it might happen:

|=cursor

Now if you typed all of that then went back to put a smilie after it!! Like this.

It would automatically put the smilie at the end of the post unless you type the code in by hand. There is also a hack for this that Jordan can install.

Jordan would have to install the hack not you.

A hack is a modification of the board.

Just because I don't respond right away, don't assume I have "thrown your suggestion out the window". :) I have implemented your suggestion, but I decided to leave :( and :cool: because I do see them used fairly often around the forum.

It goes to wherever your cursor is in the text of a message. This is the same "hack" (unofficial vBulletin code modification) that Tazz mentioned earlier, and it has been in implementation since our last forum redesign. :)

troy: I love the Olympic smiley--just have no occaision to use it. And don't get me started about my love for :dodo: :D
