Hello D1 This is going to be the Official Division 1 September 2015 conversation. All D4 business will be done here and there will not be a private conversation like in the past.

With that being said, this post will contain the division duties for September. We always need volunteers to fill the divisional duties that help make our division run smoothly. Please post if you want to help and remember that you will get Snail $hells for your efforts to use in the Snail Marketplace .

As school is starting, I won't be able to upload all replays because I won't be able to stay up for school later in the day. I'll probably catch the last 2 races each time at 5AM.
 
Rain along with thunder is coming my way with strong wind. Hopefully it goes off or I probably won't be able to race. :(

Edit: Already started to kick in with alnavas facing the wrong side of the track in the sky pit lane. :indiff:

The room was a mess and totally unstable. Cars were bouncing all over.

Thx for the paint chips. Not sure what to do with that but maybe I can return the favor. Tough division as ever! Better luck next time.

Can d1 ever find a stable room?

Even if we did, so far my experiences are we always finish the night last :lol:

Edit: Also, @msgt-sd I voted for combo 2, not 1 if I remember correctly.

It's really simple here guys. Post up your speedtest.net results to a server in California and one in New York. Best connection should be the one hosting.
 
Could I get as many of you as possible to run the New Driver Time Trial in the club events section? All you have to do is run the time trial to it's end and let the game record a time. I will gather the data from there and add it to our sheets. This will help with the placement of new drivers. Thank you in advance.

I tried, but it kept saying failed to create room. Same thing with the weekly time trials. I'll try again sometime today if I get a chance.

There is a sheet that has all the times on it but it's not for public viewing. It is very important to the integrity of the divisions and the league that new drivers are not able to see the qualifying times of other drivers. It's the only way we have to judge and place new drivers and if they knew what time would put them in what division, there is the potential for some serious sandbagging to be done.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to run the time trial. There are still about 5 full time guys in D1 that have not done it yet. Please take a few minutes and run it.

I just did one, I ran it the way we're supposed to, one try and no practice. If I was to guess at what my time would be with more practice/sneakily running more than one attempt at the TT I'd say "about .4 faster".

You could start by doing what was asked of you two weeks ago. Find the best connection and make them the host. It sure wouldn't hurt matters any.
 
Hello everyone! It looks like I'll be racing in Division 1. Can't wait to start racing with you guys!

Not sure what responsibilities I could be trusted with since I'm just starting out here, but I would be willing to volunteer myself as a Replay Uploader if that's available.

Yes it has. As well as my will to drive on Sundays. Ovals? Seriously? The other combos are still ok though.
