I don't think I can race anymore on Sunday nights. My new job is working for a investment group with deep ties to China, India, Japan and parts of Europe. With all this Corona virus crap and the stock market, I have no time on Sunday evening to race. Maybe this dies down in a few weeks and my schedule will be manageable but right now, it's not so good. Got calls last night about how low the market was going to open and the losses that would be incurred and I was overwhelmed by the request to sell. It's a really bad time and it;s seems it's only going to get worse.

I'm seeing my own problems. I'm sitting on a growing mountain of plastic and can't get it shipped out of the country. Container ships are limited to Asia right now and this stuff is just piling up. The flip side to this, and China's reluctance to take unprocessed plastic, is that recycling processesors are starting to pop up in California to handle the used irrigation product so it can be cleaned and pelletized before being sent to China.

Very interesting to hear various affects and perspectives from the current affairs from SNAIL members. (I trust what I read here more than what I get from the news media.)

Maybe in another few weeks things might settle down. I don't want to drop Snail and then have to rejoin later. I may have to be put in the part time driver status until this crisis is over.

As long as you race at least one night every two seasons, you stay listed as part time. Once you don't race for two consecutive seasons, drivers are moved off the drivers list and to inactive status. If a driver has not raced in two seasons and are set to drop off the list, they can contact me before promotion and relegation is done for the upcoming season and let me know they intend to race in the upcoming season and they can be left on the list as part time.

We need volunteers to cover duties this month. If you would like to give a job a go but don't know how to perform the job, let me know and we can work out a time for some training on how it is done.

I’ll get scores for March.

Data summary for Sunday:

From JLBowler:

PLEASE NOTE: Race durations in all three combos will approach the 16.5 minute mark. Keep a tight hand on the schedule otherwise it is going to be a long night. Line up early for the first race so that it can start promptly at 9:30 PM Eastern. Double check the lap counts as there were a few changes during the week.

Soooo, everyone be early (15 after the hour). That way we can start at 30 after the hour. Make sure you have all three cars ready to go.

You misspelled Rednose58 ;)
My error - was working off of my antiquated, non-functioning memory of reading Red’s posting 3 mins earlier.
My bad.

@PrivateSmiles, and all members of Div-3 -
My sincere apologies for the Lap Count mistake on Round 1. Read the notice about changing the laps from 12 to 9, (and was sure I had changed it), but apparently the change was not completed. As a result of my mistake, Private Smiles missed out on a Prize for his good results Sunday night.
Please accept my apology

Since most of us are “Shelter in Place” (more or less) - a good turnout is possible.
Be early - not last minute arrival.
That way we can Start on time.

We really need someone to take care of Data entries. It is one of the trademarks of Snail to have the most extensive racing data for any racing club out there.

I've sent an edit request for the SNAIL data spreadsheet. I'll check the March 2020 replays and enter any missing data ASAP.
