Can’t confirm for Fuji as I will be in Greece for two weeks in September. I’ll leave the spot open for someone else and go through qualifying if the date lines up for me.

@Yugofan amazing race on the first one. I really couldn’t pass and you were brillant for the whole 16 laps. You made zero mistake I could capitalize on.

I was running for my life! We paired up on turn 2, lap 1 and you anchored to my back bumper for the next 15.9 laps! I remember taking a deep breath after I built a full :01 gap at one point, which disappeared before I exhaled. I feared I was holding you up so kudos to your car control AND patience. I don’t think we ever touched.

You were not holding me up at all. It took me all of my concentration to keep up. And I don’t remember making any contact. You took the pressure very well, I’m not sure I would have took it that well. I’m good at putting pressure but less so at taking it. Kudos again !

DHL got the car to Japan pdq. Held up in port slightly with an offer for “alternative import tarriff”. I’m a cheap bastard so…

Event #3 / Race #2 Recap

250815 - Event 3 Spotters Guide.webp

Preamble:
It wasn't until I was well into grabbing my pictures and making my notes that I noticed this race only included 14 drivers as it appears @TexHill dropped off for Race #2.

As per our usual procedures, Race #2 goes off with the grid set in reverse order. This means that the front row is now occupied by @cesarr64 and @Noob01_lmdead. The second row will have the husband/wife combo of @DublDee and @CdnSweetTee. @Mac1032763 and @bublyman will start on the third row.

Event #3 / Race #2

LAP #1:
@cesarr64 and @Noob01_lmdead lead the grid around Turn 1 which was kept clean by all drivers.
SHARE_20250821_1222260.webp

LAP #1 - Lead Change
A really well executed Turn 1 by @Noob01_lmdead allows him to move ahead of @cesarr64 as we head into Turn 2.

A great start by a determined @JDMKING13 who started in 7th place and might have outsmarted the field early on. Whereas most drivers opted for the inside line, naturally congested with drivers wishing to avoid incidents, he takes the wider line with additional speed and gains 3 spots. Heading into Turn 2, he finds himself in 4th spot.
SHARE_20250821_1222470.webp

LAP #1:
A really good, high end sequence by @Worst_Driver from the 11th spot entering Turn 10. With the field still bunched together entering the braking zone from the right side of the track, @Worst_Driver sees an opening on the left and out-brakes @CdnSweetTee (with slightly dirty tires) @llNovall and @Yugofan and manages to sneak his car just behind @Bologna_Duc on the exit without leaving a single scratch on any other car.

Hopefully one day, my race-craft will allow for such attempts - LOL
SHARE_20250821_1223030.webp

LAP #2:
@cesarr64, running in 2nd would end up sideways between Turns 2 and 3 which allows @JDMKING13 to move into 2nd and @bublyman into 3rd. @cesarr64 would avoid a disaster but the error would drop form from 2nd to 5th.
SHARE_20250821_1223220.webp

LAP #2
An incident occurs at the chicane of Lap #2. As traffic is making its way through the chicane, @The_Antman_ car would come into contact with @socalnatv's car which would lead to @socalnatv spinning. @socalnatv would drop towards the back of the field.
SHARE_20250821_1223410.webp

LAP #4
Lots of action with this group. Entering Turn 3, @cesarr64 gave a slight push to @Bologna_Duc who shows great control to avoid disaster and quickly gets himself back in the action while giving visibility issues to the cars behind him.
SHARE_20250821_1224010.webp

LAP #7:
By Lap #7, @Noob01_lmdead has built a nice lead for himself but it's @JDMKING13, @bublyman and @Mac1032763 who seem to be having fun out of the 2-3-4 spots. @llNovall is just behind them and rounds out the current top 5.
SHARE_20250821_1224220.webp

LAP #7:
Just a little further back, @Worst_Driver spins coming out of Turn 4. He'd drop from 9th to 13th but mechanical issues would lead him to retire a few turns later. A huge blow to the WKM Racing Team.
SHARE_20250821_1224400.webp

LAP #9:
The field is a little more spread out than in the 1st race. @Noob01_lmdead's car is visible at the top. @JDMKING13, @bublyman and @Mac1032763 are still hanging out together just ahead of @llNovall. @Bologna_Duc and @The_Antman_, in 6th and 7th are getting on their brakes entering the hairpin.
SHARE_20250821_1224580.webp

LAP #12:
A couple laps ago, @Mac1032763 made a strong attempt on @bublyman but it was well defended and with the benefit of the inside line, @bublyman managed to conserve his spot. Picture here is @bublyman with a strong attempt on @JDMKING13 but it is also well defended and with the help of the inside line, @JDMKING13 managed to hold onto the 2nd position.

In the background, we can see that @llNovall has been replaced by @Bologna_Duc.
SHARE_20250821_1225180.webp

LAP #13:
@Mac1032763 finally gets his man. He's been staring at the back of @bublyman's car since Lap #1 and has patiently waited for the opportunity to present itself to take the position. On the straight of Lap #13, his patience is rewarded.
SHARE_20250821_1225350.webp

LAP #13:
Several unforced errors in this one and unfortunately, it's @bublyman's turn who goes out a little wide in the twisty section of Turns 8 and 9. He'd drop from 4th to 9th.
SHARE_20250821_1225540.webp

LAP #15:
With a little more than 1 lap to go, spots on the podium are still up for grabs and not much separates positions 2 through position 6.
SHARE_20250821_1226250.webp

LAP #16:
@Noob01_lmdead captures his first checkered flag of the season. He uses a favorable starting grid spot to run a mistake free run to give himself a win with a comfortable 9.7 second win.

@JDMKING13 and @Mac1032763 will join @Noob01_lmdead on the podium.
IMG_6609.webp

The @The_Antman_ would once again log the race's Fastest Lap (his 5th such award in 6 races) with a time of 2:00.162. He edges out @socalnatv's 2:00.221 and @Bologna_Duc's 2:00.328.

Event #3 / Race #2 Broadcast:

Driver of the Race Award:
As I review the replay a few times to pull pictures and to record the broadcast, things stand out to me so I give a shout-out to the following drivers for their performance in Event #3 / Race #2:
  • @JDMKING13 - He starts from the 11th spot and makes his way up to the podium's 2nd step all the while engaged with a fierce battle with @bublyman and @Mac1032763.
Honorable mention to @Mac1032763. He's got a high powered car but he shows great patience in his pursuit of @bublyman for 13 laps. Tries and fails to take the position in Lap 9 or 10 but continues to apply pressure and is finally rewarded with a satisfying pass which allows him to claim 3rd place.

Final Thoughts:
  • Man I wish I didn't have to miss this event. I used to hate Nurburgring but its grown on me and I like seeing it on the schedule. Despite few lead changes over the 2 Races, I believe this track offers a little bit of everything.
  • That's it for the European leg of the season. The cars and equipment will be shipped to Japan for the the next three events before coming back to the States for the last three legs. (C'mon Kaz/PD, I know you're not reading these Race Recaps but please give us Circuit Gilles Villeneuve so @llNovall can take the series to Canada one day!!)
  • Get yourselves on the active driver list for Snail's Sunday Night Spec League. Either part-time or full-time, a little of you is better than none of you.
That's how I interpreted Event #3 / Race #2.

Big shoutout to my fellow racers in there. That was a hell of a race right on the edge with clean passing moves. Such a shame that I’ve lost my concentration a fraction of second in the Schumacher esses, that would be an epic finish. Well done @JDMKING13 and @Mac1032763, that was awesome!

Same to you man.. you had better pace than me.. I appreciate your race craft… my shirt was completely soaked in the back when I got done thanks for the clean intense race!

Big shout out to @Sand and a huge apology- I was so focused at the turn in point to the shikane I did not notice the congestion of cars in front of him - wasnt until I made the enterance out of the first portion of the shikane and focused on the Red Ballard where I noticed his lower speed- I stayed right to avoid as I didnt feel I could avoid him any other way in the split second I had to make a decision. Was going to concede my position when he got tagged from behind sending him OOB -

Sorry Sand - I know how hard we all practice for these events - was definitely my error.

Post Race Report and Scoring
Event #3 at Nurburgring GP

It was the Nurburgring GP circuit for Event #3 and as usual, it offered quite a few battles across the field. Overall, the racing was close, clean, and intense. Qualifying and fast laps were very close across most of the field with race pace a showing a similar consistency. I had a decent night finishing 6th/6th across the event. The big battle in race 2 for second place was instense and nerve racking. Trying to attack on Mac, bubyman, and JDM while Duc and Kg were hunting from behind was a recipe for stress. Ultimately, I was able to grab 1 spot from bublyman, just to give up two toward the last few laps, one of them to Kg at the finish line. Overall a great race and what we strive for in this series. I'm certain there are plenty of other points to highlight, but take a look at the replays...always worth the watch.
Race broadcasts will eventually be available for viewing, but for now you can view the actual in-game replays through the search tag: snailpsc. Feel free to elaborate on any battle/exchanges you may have shared.
Despite an incident or two, overall it was a great night of racing.

Minimal lag/jittering was present across the field, but was overall manageable.

Now for Scoring:
Congratulations to kgffty / @Kgffy (#84) on the Overall Win after a penalty removed the Preliminary Event Winner. Great pace and lap consistency contributed to the strong attack and result. Great work!!

Also, Congratulations to our Top 3 Overall:
1st: kgffty / @Kgffy (#84)
2nd: Sand_68 / @socalnatv (#68)
3rd: JDMKing13 / @JDMKING13 (#9)

Awards:
kgffty / @Kgffy (#84) , please apply apply a "white" track map decal of the Nurburgring GP track to your driver side quarter window in recognition of your overall Event #3 win. >>>> Awards Link for Details and Decals
Also, be sure to re-outfit your car with the Pro-Am (blue accents) livery for your next event.

awhitmo / @The_Antman_ (#01) , please apply one checkered flag decal linked below in recognition of your Race 1 win. >>>> Awards Link for Details and Decals

RJC76 / @Noob01_lmdead (#12) , please apply one checkered flag decal linked below in recognition of your Race 2 win. >>>> Awards Link for Details and Decals

Series main Spotters Guide and Driver Profile page has been updated in order of driver standings with award tags and overall podium placement acknowledgements.>>>Driver Profile Page and Spotters Guide Link

For any drivers that care to participate in displaying their Driver Standing for next event, please see the spoiler tab below for details. Please verify your current driver standing on the scoresheet provided, or by the driver profile page linked in this post. Please be sure to update your livery prior to each event. If in doubt, simply remove the numbers before the event. See the Spoiler tab below:
Driver Standings Recognition
Drivers will be encouraged, not required, to display their current driver standing going into each event after Event #1, though there will be a few rules and requirements.
Drivers who are interested in diplaying their current standing, should collect the following green digital numbers 0-9.
19298d4c15a5-screenshotUrl.jpg

After scoring is finalized and Post Race report issued, drivers will be cleared to edit their driver standing on their number board along with any award tags. Drivers should apply their Standing on both side's boards and be sure their number is in line with their actual standing in the Championship.
Should look like this:
19298d4a4df4-screenshotUrl.jpg

Rules and requirements:
To maintain accuracy and integrity to this recognition, drivers who choose to add their standing to their car will be required to submit an updated profile picture before each event with their scrutineering tuning sheet. Submissions will be reviewed post event just as I do for the driver regulations.
If a driver forgets to submit the car picture with a standing displayed or has the wrong standing placement displayed , it will result in a 5 point penalty against the overall event score. This has to be in place to ensure that those who want to display their standing, maintains the attention and accuracy for it to be credible.
If choosing to display, be sure your edited livery is correct, accurate, and saved prior to each event. If unsure or not interested in displaying your standing, simply leave it blank or just apply double zeros.
The profile pictures will not be used for the Driver profile page, only for scrutineering to maintain the integrity of this recognition.
Again, this is optional, but if done correctly, it will be a great way to know who is where in the standings as the season unfolds.

Race Lobby PP Max Regulation for Event #3 remains set to 699.00 PP
(PP adjustments are based off of raw preliminary results, before the issuance of any penalties)
(Please be sure to set Max PP correctly, as noted above, for practice lobbies to allow those drivers with concessions to enter)

After race1 I was like I’m going too chill race 2 because was happy for Podium finish,
Then as race 2 went on saw possibility of Overall and started too get more aggressive and was mirror driving watching Sand and Ants Progress of that race,
Last corner was awesome @llNovall, I threw it up inside of u last corner and I appreciate u giving me room.
Now love upcoming race but dam it’s hard too pass hear lol.

Event #4 Race Details
September 12th, 2025, 9pm est
Fuji International
(Long Course)

Evening, S17,
Hazy, Cloudy, and Sunny
19 Laps

Below are the details for Event #4 at Fuji International (Long Course) on Friday, September 12th, 2025.
Drivers are encouraged and reminded to confirm their attendance status as soon as possible to secure their spot on the grid for race night. Please see the updated Confimation and grid priority rules in the Spoiler tab below.
For the first event of this series, the top 12 drivers to confirm attending are guaranteed their grid spots for Event #1. Every event thereafter, the top 12 drivers in overall points standing will be afforded grid priority and first right of refusal for the next event. They simply need to confirm at any point up to 8pm est on the Thursday before our Friday race night to claim their grid priority. Drivers in the top 12 in standings that cannot make an event and confirm absent will forfiet their grid spot(s) to the next confirmed driver(s) in the order of their overall season standings.

For the final four grid spots:
-If we have only 4 drivers confirmed/available by 8pm est on the Friday race night, those four drivers will simply procede to the race room at 9pm est to fill out the grid and the race night will proceed as normal.

-If we have more than 4 drivers confirmed/available by 8pm est on the Friday race night, those drivers will be required to run a formal Pre-Qualification session to establish the final 4 spots and remaining reserve priority for that night's event. (If confirmed drivers in this group choose to rescind their confirmation rather than attempt to qualify for the final 4 spots, and only 4 drivers remain, those 4 remaining drivers can procede to the race room at 9pm est as no run-off is then necessary).

-If the Pre-Qualification session does proceed and the final 4 drivers are established, any driver(s) that were present, posted a time for the Pre-Qualification session prior to an Event, and does not earn a spot on the main grid will earn an equivalent to last place concession award of +2pp toward their next event driver regulation. For those at the +20pp regulation, no more concession will be afforded.

If the Pre-Qualification is Necessary:
-@Noob01_lmdead / PSN ID: RJC76 will be our dedicated Pre-Qualifying room host with @Bologna_Duc / PSN ID: DucatiRobb as our back-up host for this session. Be sure to have both of them on your PSN friends list to have access to their room. They will not be on track during this session (unless they are outside the top 12 in standings and are part of the run-off group)
-Pre-Qualification Lobby will be openened at 8:30pm est on our scheduled race night. Lobby settings will be set to the same as the main race lobby, except for the change to 10 minutes for the Pre-qualifying session. All confirmed Drivers (or last minute available drivers) will have 10 minutes to enter the room and forward their spec sheets to my PSN ID or to the series PSN group chat.
-Pre Qualifying will start promptly at 8:40pm est for a 10 minute qualifying session. (Again, if only 4 drivers are present at 8:40pm est, this session can be cancelled and those 4 drivers can procede to the main race room at 9pm est)
-The host will collect a screenshot of the qualifying results to be sent to the series group chat, and the top 4 (or more if needed to cover for very late last minute drops) will be directed to procede to the main race room when it opens at 9pm est.
-This Pre-Qualification room will then be closed, and all drivers that made the grid are to procede to the main race room when it opens at 9pm est.
-The main race lobby/room will then procede in it's current format of 15 min warmup/sending specs, 15 min Race 1 qualifying session, and then the 30 min race 1. Drivers that race the pre-qualification are expected to send their spec sheet again once the main race room is entered.

I will be hosting practice sessions in the afternoons periodically over the next week between 4pm-5pm est, and am sure there will be other rooms open during the evening prime-time. Get those laps in and be ready.

Below is the link for the 2nd Post in the thread with the most updated driver regulations. Those highlighted in yellow either need to run an initial TT, or run a follow up TT to get the regulations confirmed.
Drivers Roster and Regulations
Please see below for the rules if not completed before race night:

At the time of this post, we currently have 16 drivers confirmed for event #4 with only 12 of them guaranteed a grid spot based on their overall series standing. All remaining drivers who are confirmed or confirm before Friday at 8pm est on race night will be asked to run in the pre-qualifying room at 8:30pm est on race night. The top 4 times (or more if needed to cover any last minute drops after the pre-qualifying session) will move on to the main race event room.
Please be sure to confirm your entry if wanting to compete.
