Racing Series
This will use the two track and car combos from the Sport Mode Time Trials. If there are more than 2 TTs available in Sport Mode, whomever hosts, picks which to use.

  • Two races Set to Practice / Qualifier / Endurance Race
    • 5 Minute Qualifying (may be adjusted at host's discretion)
    • 25 Minute Race (may be adjusted at host's discretion)
    • Tire Wear 2x
    • Fuel Consumption
      • Race;
        • All "race cars" - 7x (may be adjusted at host's discretion)
        • Road cars <=4 cylinders - 13x (may be adjusted at host's discretion)
        • Road cars >4 cylinders - 5x (may be adjusted at host's discretion)
      • Qualifying - 2x
    • Refuel Speed 15 L/sec
  • Have a look here for the complete lobby settings (subject to change).
    • Will use same tires as Sport Mode TT.
    • Lobby open for practice at 7:45P Eastern
    • Qualifying starts at 8:00P Eastern. If there are 2 or more in the room at this time, fire it up.
  • Anyone may host, and someone other than me, probably should.
  • PSN Voice Comms encouraged but not required.
The philosophy behind this series is "Let's drive, if a race happens while we're doing it, GREAT! Let winning take care of itself". For an example of this philosophy in action, have a look at this video.

It is expected for all participants to adhere to the SNAIL OLR.

PSVR2 not required. Any and all are welcome to use it, as well as, if the car allows, clutch and H-gate shifters. Don't have to use either.

Come on out and drive the cars without the restrictions imposed by PD's TT settings.

Not sure if I’ll attend, I may go for one last fatbike ride for this season on Tuesday night if the conditions are favorable. Lots of rain on top of snow and 2 days of freezing cold usually equals concrete solid snow.

I’ll share this new series in nova’s thread as well, who knows maybe we’ll see some new faces join in.

Game hung at loading screen. Will be along shortly.

Not seeing Joe online nor see the lobby.

Changed Fuel Consumption Rate to 5x for race. Qualifier remains at 2x.

You will run out of fuel with the Crown Safety car. Plan accordingly.

Replays up with tags tuett20260407 & snail.
tuett isn't some nasty word in French is it? ;)

Fun night!

Think we're going to increase the fuel consumption on the Crown to 7x for next week. Make that no stop a bit more sacrificing.
We'll see what the new combo is on Thursday.

Will get new combo up tonight. Is that '65 Alfa up in the LCD?

Replays up, tagged tuestt20260414.

We will be changing the fuel consumption as follows;
  • All "race cars" will be at 15x
  • Road cars <=4 cylinders will be at 15x.
  • Road cars >4 cylinders will be set to 10x.
We'll see what replaces the Crown on Thursday.

That Alfa is on at least 4 grades of tire to high.

Also, I don't think it's necessary to have the lobby open 30 minutes before the first qualification. It's kind of a fact that the longer you wait until you launch a race (or quali in our case), the greater the chance you have that a random guy (exactly the kind of guy we want to recruit) leaves to do another race somewhere else. Maybe we can open it 15 minutes before like the Thursday practice? If there is a point that argues for keeping the 30 minutes gap, please explain it to me.

No point, except to allow anyone that wants an opportunity to "warm up". Sure we can go to 7:45.
