Snapmatic - Contest?

Hi all, I know many of you have probably seen me around the forums (primarily the GTA and Hot Wheels threads), but don't know me too well haha.

I had a thought, what do people think about a weekly Snapmatic contest?

Here's my ideas about how it could be run:

- First theme thought up by me
- People on both PS3 and X360 can take part
- Photos must be taken during the contest week, no old shots, and adhering to the theme
- Once first week is up, photos are then put into a voting thread with a poll, votes are taken for a week
- Winner of the first week then chooses the next theme
- Winners will be posted into a separate thread cataloging all prior winners (Hall of Fame if you will)

So on and so forth.

Then a couple of basic things, pictures can not be edited outside of the game apart from watermarks/usernames.

Just a thought, hopefully I haven't posted this in the wrong section.

What do people think? I'm open to any feedback, though if critical, please include ideas how to improve or why it's not a good idea.

EDIT: Now that I read through, it'd be bi-weekly really haha. Still, you get the idea.

@Willfred_1 ran something similar to this a couple of months ago, but after a week it just stopped and I never got my prize after winning. I'd certainly take part in this one too. 👍

I don't really think there'd be any way to give out prizes in GTA V... the only thing I can think of is a fully tuned car of one's choosing to either store or sell, but then someone would have to have enough money to afford the upgrades and enough patience to find the cars in the first place.

The prize was cash shared from a job. Although, I'm not saying prizes have to be a thing, I enjoyed the Photomode contests (before GTA intensified and GT6's sounds made me sad) and all you really win is bragging rights and a spot in the Hall of Fame. :lol:
 
I'd enjoy being involved in this. I wouldn't care if I was rewarded or not if I won. I think rewards would be difficult to dole out anyways, because of all the consoles this is available on. How would I be rewarded by a PS3 user when I am on xbox360?
