I wanted to take some Christmas shots with my red and white Viper with Green rims in the snow. However, when I looked at my replay to take the shots the rims for the snow tires were full circle white. Is this always the case with snow/dirt tires? Do the painted rims not stay with the car when they are wearing snow/dirt tires?

When you apply dirt or snow tires, the car will automatically use rally wheels.
Something I find pretty cool to be honest.

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't mind the rally wheels. I was just trying to get some cool red/white/green shots for the season.

Well, you could try to make a picture in the snow and a picture with the same angle on another track and photoshop the rims.

Thanks for the suggestion -- I'll give it a try. At some point i think I saw a pic of some snow at the Ring. I may go there and see if I can get the weather to turn cold.

It can happen online I think, but the snow won't stay on the track. If you saw a 'ring covered in snow, it was a photoshop job as well.
