So my buddy is going to pick em up today. He called me over the weekend telling me he came across pretty much brand new sleds, with a trailer and wanted to know if I wanted to go in on it with him. Now I trust this guy and everything, we've been friends since we were 2.

Anyways they are 2006 Yamaha RS Rage's and they are sweet! My buddy (Chris) found them in a newspaper, I guess some guy ran off with some young girl and his wife got mad and sold his sleds dirt cheap. We got 2, pretty much, brand new sled and a trailer for 10 grand! Now these things are $9,000 a piece new plus the trailer has to be at least a couple grand (granted the trailer is a few years old).

The wife was awesome and I guess she sold off her husband's BMW as well. It's pretty funny how vendictive women are sometimes .

But ya I can't wait to get these out on the trail. Chris and I are taking our girls up north to his cabin this weekend and going sleding. It should be an absolute blast.

But this things have a 973cc 4-stroke 3 cylinder in them, I bet they are quick as hell. But mine is blue and white (to match my dirt bike) and my buddies is silver and red.

I'm definatly going to order some performance parts for this thing tonight.

Man you are a lucky son of a gun.
Those sleds look real cool man, and I bet you're gonna have tons of fun.

Nice sleds dude ! ( btw, I officially hate you for getting such a sweet deal though ) ........ I used to sled all the time when I lived in northern ontario...my back yard had a trail right to the official groomed trail for the area...I would suggest a performance muffler, make her sound bad-ass! Try some 'GoldDigger" track studs too....you'll smoke someone with the same sled and no studs!

They look sweet, me and my buddy just went and picked them up. There is seriously like 12 hours on them or something.

wicked... i was just watching the irondog race, the longest snowmobile race in the world, they go for about 2,000 miles in alaska... good buy

My only concern is the back seat, I hope Katie can hang on to me.

he... Get a Tshirt with "If you can read this, the b!tch fell off" printed on the back :-)

Sweet deal there - Nice find !... I've never been on a snowmobile, not worth much here in DK, but I would love to try one some day !..

Haha I think she'd disown me or something, but I won't go fast with her on it. I think we'll just go for a romantic sun set ride or something.....oh god I think I just made myself puke a little.

Good deal. I'm right in the middle of two big snowmobiling areas, buffalo and water town but I've never riddin one.

As with any vehicle be careful, I know a guy who crashed his into a tree going 60 and also a teenager died riding one a few years back.

Back when I was younger my parents had them, we sold them and my dad got an ATV and I bought my dirt bike, so I have a slight bit of knowledge with driving them. I can't imagine its harder then riding a dirt bike...although it has a ton more power.

I don't know I'm excitied for going Friday night.

Right - I can believe that - Would you by any chance have an Eiffel Tower for sale as well ;)

Cool big boys toys Blazin 👍 . I'd love to ride a snowmobile sometime but I'll have to go overseas since there's barely any snow over here.

I'm glad they were Yamaha's since I have a Yamaha YZF125 dirtbike

And my dad bought a pair of these to keep up at our cabin, they are FX Crusiers, the 50th Anniversary ones. I don't really ride them though since I can't exactly swim...so I don't go out in the water.

Nice toys! I miss those.

We had a few ones back when I was in high school, my favorite was our tuned Polaris Indy 650 RXL, and it's been the fastest vehicule I had driven for quite a while (well over 100mph, which can be quite scary on a snow trail... incidently, after that run, my father never let me ride his Indy Storm 800 again :( ).

One thing I really hated back then was unusually hot winters... one year, we barely could use them for a month, which is not a very good return on your investment. :grumpy:

The winters here this year have been weird, it was in the 40's today. But up north there is a lot of snow so its all good.
