I was wondering if anyone here snowshoes as I am considering buying a pair. During the warmer, non-snowy months, like April-early November, I hike quite a bit and sitting inside from December to March is boring as all get up. I do get out and go ATV'ing and Skikjøring (Skijoring) occasionally but past that there is much for me to do over the winter.
I figure snowshoeing is more or less hiking with a tennis racket stuck to your foot so it can't be that hard, but I was curious to get some input on it. I want to get out and go along some trails at the local park as well as shoot some winter photography but hiking boots obviously aren't going to cut it.
