this thread is for everyone who experienced power interruptions during their enduro runs...

lemme start

9 hours around tsukaba


i could just cry...

8:53:47 in to the race, the power trips and everything turns to black, and back on again.

was already leading by at least 10 laps over a lovely RX-7 Spirit, using my TVR 350. half a-spec, half b-spec.


gone in a split second.


rainy season here in manila (philippines) can mean sudden downpours and thunderstorms. oh well, here we go again. :indiff: :nervous: :guilty:
 
I have my console plugged into a UPS just for that reason. It won't help if the power is out for a few hours, but a blink or even a 10-20 minute outage and I am still in business. Just don't put the TV on the UPS too 'cause they draw a lot of power...
 
restarted the race. hoping that the power won't fluctuate again.

UPS sounding like a great idea... good thing i'm done with the 24h races.

any of you guys have had the same experience?
 
That's the reason we use B-Spec... no guarantee of more than two or three hours continuous power during the rainy season... :( ...I keep expecting the power to go out whenever I'm saving... so I'm glad it doesn't!
 
Had just won La Sarthe II 24h... just about to claim my prize and save and.... nooooooo!!!! :crazy:
