Backpack that will hold books, a laptop, and a digital camera? I was just wondering because I like to take my laptop with me to school, and now that I bought a camera, I need a way to carry that too. I dont know about these things and I thought the nice folk at the GTP could help me out a bit. Thanks in advance guys 👍

Not to be a smarty-pants, but you could just go to the store and see. My college's bookstore (which was admittedly larger and well-stocked compared to most) had tons of different bags to choose from. Most messenger bags today are large enough to fit a laptop into, and have all sorts of extra pockets for other stuff (water bottles, umbrellas, calculators...). With a camera, you'll need something larger than standard, but there's definitely something out there for you...

I have a Targus one that I've been using for three years, plus it's gone camping, to England, and to Spain with me and it doesn't even look worn. Sure it's dirty as hell but I've never had such a durable backpack before. There is a slot for my laptop, cell phone, camera, some books and all my other crap.

Just have padding for the Laptop and Camera. Books don't count. Have the laptop on the top of ever book and just watch when you put the backpack down. I have carried my laptop for months now towards college and I watch how I put it down, but the majority of the time, I would bring my laptop case and have my notebooks in there.
