one week and counting....... perhaps due to the holidays?

I bought a GT3 combo pack back in November (wheel, shifter and cs pedals). Waited till Christmas to open it. after about an hour of GT5, then the wheel started to freak out on me. spent a few hour messing w/ the wheel. If SHO setting are above 0 whenever I hit the gas it automatically hits the select and start button. Now the wheel does not vibrate.... In addition, whenever I rally the wheel starts making a very high pitch noise like it needs more power of something.

Since I bought the combo pack, I assumed it would have came with the $2 cable to connect the shifter. but I was wrong.

Other than that issue, the wheel is awesome with the butt kicker 2 and playseat evo.

Hi, if not done already try the latest FW(this can be a bit tricky to do, might be easy, might not). Reset settings via LED display button. Wheel being very flexible ie lots of settings, it can take a bit to set up, especially inconjuction with in Game settings as well. Sometimes another peeps settings might suit you, so look at ones that relate to Game, your Wheel etc.
For a lot Fanatec Wheels might just be Plug & Play, but for lots, this is not the case, its a learning curve. Well if you want to get the most out of the wheel(or pedals).
I got GT3rs v2 when it first came out, with CSP's, shifters etc, came with lots of cables. Few not used, would need to think a bit, what those not used are for :)
Also PC's, PS3's etc don't always run perfect so consider them as well, if you have a problem. Or a bad cable, connection etc etc. Or Game might not be perfect etc etc.

Cheers BOB

Tell me about it, i won a fanatec carrera wheel in a competition that was run by inside sim racing back in september and still have not received it.

I'd say they're likely extremely busy because of the holidays plus fewer working days, etc. But a week? Thats a bit much. At this point I'd give them a call, emails can get lost too easily.
