Ev0My dad was also a horrible driving teacher; his method of teaching involved telling me how every little thing I did wrong could potentially kill someone...
My advice is to go to a driving school as soon as possible. They really helped me become a safer driver.
My dad gets this tone to his voice, like if I mess up it's all over with. He waits til the last minute to tell me things and then expects me to execute his orders with miltary precision and if I don't then it's fuss and crticize. I thinkn starting out with a manual was just tooooo much stuff at one time to deal with. I got to get the basics down with an automatic before I start in with the manual
