So I Want to Make A Tail Light Night Light

I wanted to know if any on you could help me turn it into a "night light". It has all of the electronics and bulbs on it. A friend was gonna buy it but then he didn't so i got it
I dont use a nightlight but starring into the taillight of a 300zx would make my night

Push button/toggle switches (one for each light), something to mount them on, a power converter/transformer to go from 120v to 12v, some wire and you should be good to go.

This is a very old thread.
Nowadays I think the easiest way would be a small remote control, battery powered led strip hidden in the housing
