Hypothetically speaking, if these pictures were from WWII and were pictures of Hitler they would be worth a small fortune eh? For argument sake assume that they are from his personal photographer. Just wondering in case I ever come across some. :scared:

That might be a problem because they arent at my house or near it at the moment. I would really like to get them for like a day and put them all on a cd just so we have them in case anything bad happens. But when I saw them for the first time my jaw dropped and I was just like, "where did you get these?"

A charcoal portrait may or may not be worth anything. Someone can do a charcoal portrait of hitler now, that doesn't make it valuable. What might make it valuable is how/when it was commissioned and who did it. It has to be a significant piece.

It'd be rather handy to be able to make a living tracing pictures of historical figures out of a textbook. :lol:
 
I think it really depends on the context. I would imagine a shot of Hitler at a rally party wouldn't be much, but something that captures some of his personal life; or an intimate moment might be worthwhile. A lot of biographies would eat those up I would imagine. Who knows, I have a few shots of Hitler from my grandfathers time in Germany. Been awhile since I seen them, maybe this week I'll grab a few shots.
 
New photo's of arguably the most evil man in history would make news.
