So my xbox died...

The other day i tried to turn on my xbox and all i heard was this popping sound coming from the Power supply. I further investigated it and noticed dat when i took out the power cord that sparks of electricity would start flying and you would be able to see and smell smoke. I searched on the net and I came up with some info that I need to Replace the Power supply. Does anybody know where i can get a power supply for the 1st gen XBOX. I have a friend with a broken xbox but the power supply is good on it. Do you guys think I can transplant the power supply from my friends xbox into mine safely???
 
hmm, i remember i ordered my new power supply and it was free, all they need is the numbers on the bottom or something, not sure what site i used, ill start looking
 
what i'm talking about is the actual power supply inside the xbox i also got the free power supply from microsoft... its just that my internal power supply is fried or something not to sure about it...
