Where's the online subforum where members can organize private races and rankings???

The private online system is a bit strange. It's seperate from the open lobby.

You have to create a room and then tell your friends to join via XMB. They have to be on your PSN list and you can't invite them through GT5.

Okay, that makes it a bit more complicated to organized.

But anyways, are custom tracks race-able online?? I played a few online sessions and realized I just don't know the track well enough to be competitive, giving me huge disadvantage. If we raced virgin tracks...then racing skill would be more dominant.

That's part of the fun though. Skill is a combination of car and track. Two people driving the same car on the same track will give a you a good way to evaluate the two since skill should be the only differentiating factor.

you can invite people who aren't on your friends list, by giving them the 'room number'

this is the 12(?) digit code you see in the top left of the room.

if you enter this number after clicking on the globe icon, you join this room.

i'm waiting for some GTP rooms i can join.
