Jordan, one thing I really wish the app included was integration for GTP social groups. It's probably not a common request but I have to admit, it's where I spend most of my time on GTplanet and instead of using the app, I have to open my mobile browser anyway. Any chance of it happening at some point?

Whats the social groups?

I doubt that social groups will ever be accessible from within the app, unfortunately.

The app is powered by "ForumRunner", a platform which provides the native touch-screen interface for Android and iOS, along with the server-side interface for the forum. These two systems must be designed to work with a wide range of forum software, so the more unique features of a software (in this case, vBulletin's social groups), are not supported.

Shmogt, social groups are like semi-private mini-forums, which you can find here.

Thanks for the explanation Jordan. (I totally forgot to look for replies in this thread)

Perhaps at some point, in a future update to the site, Social Groups can be restructured in a way that they're more integrated into the framework of the forum. In general terms, they're limited. You can't hot link videos. You can't do much in the way of text editing (sizes, fonts, etc), searching through threads even within a social group (for new posts) is tricky.
