Well I must say this is going to be the best online game ever created. Everyday when I log onto Socom 2 there are roughly 30,000 people online. Thats quite alot.

Can't wait for this game to come out. I have played Socom 2 nearly 2000 hours in 1 year. Hopefully I will play this new title just as much.
 
I used to play Socom 2 a lot, it´s the best PS2 online game for sure. And now, Socom 3 is bringing nice updates, like 32 players online (not sure if my ADSL will be able to handle it) and vehicles.

Can´t wait to play it.
 
Socom and Socom II were favorites of mine.I remember playing Socom II online....hard to get used to but damn was it fun!

Lag will always be a problem. My internet runs at 265 kbps and I lag constantly. But when I'm at my grandma's who has 3 meg I do not lag a bit. Maybe we should all upgrade our internet. The servers are becoming dated. I must admit that my XBOX live servers are better. But you get what you pay for. :)
 
Since everyone loves socom so much maybe I should buy this? I like FPS but not 3rd person. Is it still fun anyway?

like I said..I've played it 2000hrs in 1 year. I prefer it over Halo anyday. I love my halo..but socom is just..well its more realistic..its the Gran turismo of shooters..lol

Well if that's the case, cool. But every screen i've seen of Socom 2 it was third person.
 
First person is very odd in this game...in 3rd person you can see around corners..and see your characters movement..I use 1st person when I lay down in tall grass sometimes...hmmm
 
I play this game regularily online. And I'm surprised how many people still play it. I can't wait for socom 3!

it's fun to play..although this time around the terrorist may not get the M14...but in the Beta it was there. :)
