Oh man i love it, its absolutely the best game for PS2 in my opinion, I've been playing since before december and i'm with the squad >BR<, its great we have wars with other squads and all stats are kept here

Yea, I just love it how you can actually hide in bushes and people just walk by you when your online. This game is great. Must have! Level designs are the best!
They're just about to start trials for Socom on-line in Australia. You have to buy the game and enter a comp to be part of the trial - oh yeah, and have a broadband connection.
if you want to play socom online the headset is a neccessity. The online battles require alot of team work to succeed, and to have team work you need communication. The game is probably cheaper on ebay....
