[Solved] What is the name of this fuel line part?

I just spent an hour searching the internet for the name of this thing but cannot find it.

I'm talking about the UFO disc shaped "valve" thing on this fuel line

When I was working on the car I thought this fuel line was in my way so I attempted to separate it at the "valve" thingy but found it almost impossible and ended up just twisting and damaging the ends of it. So I now have to buy a new one.

Thanks. I'll go to the auto parts store tomorrow and see what they got. I fear I may end up having to buy the entire fuel line though...

They do sell them separate, but it will likely vary vehicle to vehicle.

UPDATE

Turns out the part is fine. The rubber hose I pulled back from the regulator is just for protection. Below the rubber hose is a solid one piece plastic fuel line that was not damaged.
