Help! I cannot access 'Folder Options' because it is missing. I don't know how to make it reappear.
Plus, before it happened, I cannot show hidden files even I've selected "Show hidden files and folders" many times and apply it.
And more, my Task Manager cannot be opened properly. When I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del, the Task Manager showed for a very short time (less than a second), and disappeared as it were forced to close itself like Command Prompt.

I use Windows XP Professional SP3. Any help would be much appreciated 👍.
:)

Trojan - have seen it before -

DL this ISO: Kaspersky Rescue CD - boot it and let it scan you 'puter. You'll probably need to DL and burn it on a non-infected box though..

What--oh wait, is it because of a trojan? So this is the step you've explained:
Go to this URL, download the file "kav_rescue_2008.iso", burn it in a CD, and...how I'm going to insert the CD when my computer is shutdown? :boggled:
When the CD's in operation, do this might interrupt anything in the computer? Like, system files, personal stuffs, and probably soft & hardwares? :scared:

Boot on the CD, update as requested, run the scan - if it finds anything, it'll prompt you for whatever action you wish to take...

I've used it a few times, never had anything go bad..

Hmmm...okay, I'll try. Good tips anyway.
Wondered if there is any latest year of the Kaspersky Rescue CD, maybe 2010, for download?

Nope.. That's the latest build, but the engine doesn't really need updating, only the signature files.
