Earlier today, I talked to an SCEA employee. He's a GT freak, and mentioned that they had a demo build of GT4. He said it had only about 15-20 cars, and about 5 tracks.
He did confirm that the game has 3D, animated, crowds, although they're only in some tracks in the build, and the others are still GT3 style.
He also mentioned a feature, which he said was also an undocumented feature in GT3. Apparently, you can network 8 PS2s together, each with a monitor, and have 8 TVs for a 360* view.
The net play is also apparently awesome.
He also remarked on just how incredible the game is in acton. The realism in graphical appearance is breathtaking in motion.
IN other news, they also have one of the now Logitech wheels. He says it's incredible in action.
