Some improvements?

I like the idea of a walk around garage. Imagine seeing your cars in your garage and taking photos. I want to park my exotics in one corner, and my race cars in one corner etc. Why don't GT5 implement something like this?

And racking up options when buying a new car? Like special wheels, paint interior material etc.
Also, why not being able to see your modifications? Like if you did a Stage 3 weight loss, why not see your rear seats gone or something like that? It just seems weird for me that my M5 weighs less then 1.5 tons and still have full luxury leather seats and dashboard and all that.

Opinions?
 
Sounds cool but expand on the walk around idea. Would it be like the Garage you use to have in GT4 and you could see the car you were in parked out front of it, but expanded more to where you can go inside and have a show room type collection of all your cars.
 
The idea's sound awesome. I don't think technically a garage would be impossible, considering the photo-mode and walking around the car for shots. The only sticking point would be placing of car's and whether a showroom would be better (to give you more space to walk around, instead of a crammed garage).

Why not have the dealerships walk around as well? And well, there are huge garages around the world. Just look at the Sultan of Brunei.

You know what symustafa1996, I haven't seen the Sultan's garage. Before GT5 was released and when I used to visit the PD website, I used to wish they would have a feature that would allow you to walk around that garage/pit area.

LOL I guess there is a line, before GT would turn into something like Test Drive Unlimited!
 
I want my own garage. Start out as a small garage. Then as you make your way through the game you have the choice of adding on to your existing garage as you earn more money. Adding stuff like more garage bays, expanding in size and even do a little interior decorating as far as colors and themes go. Maybe offer up some furniture in the form of tickets that you need to redeem first.

There are tons more that I would want from this game. But then it wouldnt be called the real driving simulator. More like GT5 RPG.
 
Love your idea about the showroom... Would be awesome to have a garage where you could choose where to put your cars. :D

How about those who got 2000 cars? ;)
 
I think I'd get virtually exhausted walking around a garage that has over a thousand cars in it.

That's kind of the idea I had or one like Jay Leno or Ralph Lauren.
 
Considering it takes 30-40 seconds to load 16 cars, a garage would be impossible.

I do however dislike fact that we can not pick the interior colors, especially when they change color completly after repainting.

As has been said tons and tons of times by others that doesn't seem to be a GT problem but a problem with the PS3 as well.

If it were multi-story where you could put different cars on different levels (you choose where the cars go, of course), I don't think it would seem as immense.
 
To keep it simple I wish we could at least create folders in the garage system.
 
They could just limit the number of cars that can fit in the garage. Like how you have a favorites list, you can have a garage list. Every time you add or change a car on the list the garage should automatically update. No sense in putting every single car in there.

I second that,👍 would be sweet and make it very easy to find what you are looking for. I have 1,680 cars makes it very hard online finding one.
 
Test Drive Unlimited managed this, problem I think is that unlike Forza they haven't modeled the doors to open/shut. So you'd be stuck either inside or outside the car to have a look around.

MASSIVE shame that they have spent so much time doing interiors on cars (Leather grain etc) but you can't actually examine the detail.
